Our client is seeking a passionate individual dedicated to immigration and assisting clients in navigating complex regulations to access life-changing opportunities. You will be a vital part of the Client Services team, working directly with clients to prepare immigration petitions for USCIS filing.
In this role, you will deliver industry-leading service by providing timely and clear immigration support. You are motivated to help automate manual, confusing processes into a modern, intuitive experience that connects global talent with opportunities.
Location
This is a remote position based in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Provide a consistent, industry-leading experience to clients by offering legal support and strategy from initial consultation to petition filing.
- Prepare and file initial submissions, re-submissions, and RFE/NOID responses for petitions such as O-1, EB-1, and EB-2 NIW.
- Learn to prepare new case types, including I-485, H-1B, TN, E-3, and E-2.
- Monitor individual case pipelines to meet production targets, deadlines, and enhance client satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding procedural and case issues, identify solutions, and stay updated on client activity.
- Contribute feedback for continuous process improvements and redundancy elimination.
- Provide input to the Technology team to help develop client-focused technology solutions.
- Collaborate with the Technology team, accounting for approximately 5% of your role.
- Report directly to the Immigration Attorney.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Definition of Success
Required:
- At least 1 year of experience in business immigration, preferably with O-1, EB-1, and EB-2 NIW cases, as a Paralegal or Immigration Specialist.
- At least 1 year of experience in a law firm, corporate, or startup environment.
- Strong writing, reasoning, and communication skills.
- Experience interacting directly with clients via email, phone, and video calls.
- Ability to anticipate client needs and address concerns effectively.
- Experience managing multiple cases and priorities, keeping clients informed of deadlines and changes.
- Ability to work independently following established procedures with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with Salesforce and GSuite.
- Experience collaborating with Technology and Product teams.
- Experience working with startup founders or in technology companies.
