Key Responsibilities

  1. Offer a consistent, industry-leading experience to customers by providing legal support and strategy from the initial kick-off call through petition filing.
  2. Prepare and file initial submissions, re-submissions, and RFE/NOID responses for O-1, EB-1, and EB-2 NIW petitions, LMIA GTS, Permanent residence applications, IEC work permits.
  3. Provide consular support assistance for immigrant visa (employment based and marriage based) and non-immigrant visa applications (B-1, H-1B, L-1, E-1, E-2, E-3, O-1), including DS-160 and DS-260 forms.
  4. Continuously level up by learning how to prepare new case types, such as I-485, H-1B, TN, E-3, E-2, etc.
  5. Actively monitor individual case pipeline to achieve production targets, meet critical deadlines, and increase client satisfaction.
  6. Effectively communicate with customers regarding procedural and case processing issues, identify client immigration solutions, and understand current client activity.
  7. Provide feedback in opportunities for continuous process improvement and elimination of redundancy.
  8. Report directly to the Immigration Specialist Manager.
  9. Managing Employment Life-Cycle.
  10. Work on special projects, as assigned.

Requirements

  1. 5+ years of business immigration experience, either as a Paralegal or Immigration Specialist RCIC (Preference for O-1, E-2, EB-1, and EB-2 NIW experience).
  2. 1+ year of experience working in a law firm, corporate, or startup setting.
  3. Strong writing, logical reasoning, and communication skills.
  4. Strong client services skills:
    1. Experience directly interacting with customers via email, call, and video.
    2. Experience anticipating clients’ needs and addressing their concerns.
  5. Experience managing individual pipeline and proven ability to juggle multiple customers and priorities, keeping all customers informed of changes to deadlines.
  6. Ability to function independently while following established directions and processes with limited hand-holding.
  7. Strong attention to detail.
  8. Familiarity with JIRA, Notion, and Slack as a plus!
