Job description

Who we are is what we do.

Deel and our family of growing companies are made up of global teams dedicated to helping businesses hire anyone, anywhere, easily.

The team comprises over three thousand self-driven individuals spanning over 100 countries, and our unified yet diverse culture keeps us continually learning and innovating the platform and products for customers.

Companies should be able to hire the best talent anywhere in the world, so we are building the best platform to make that a reality. Our market-leading technology, expertise, and global team are crucial to the platform’s success. We deliver the best products and features in our space, enabling millions of jobs worldwide and connecting the global workforce with the best companies and opportunities.

Why should you be part of our success story?

A 30-mile hiring radius should no longer dictate how companies hire because exceptional talent lives everywhere. Deel sees a world without hiring borders and endless talent that pairs perfect candidates with great companies.

We offer global teams all the tools they need to hire, onboard, manage, pay, and scale at full speed. We aim to foster a diverse global economy by building a generational platform that seamlessly connects companies with talent worldwide.

After our successful Series D in 2021, we raised another $50M in 2023, doubling our valuation to $12B. There’s never been a more exciting time to join Deel — the international payroll and compliance market leader.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Offer a consistent, industry-leading experience to customers by providing legal support and strategy from the initial kick-off call through petition filing.

  4. Continuously level up by learning how to prepare new case types, such as I-485, H-1B, TN, E-3, E-2, etc.
  5. Actively monitor individual case pipeline to achieve production targets, meet critical deadlines, and increase client satisfaction.
  6. Effectively communicate with customers regarding procedural and case processing issues, identify client immigration solutions, and understand current client activity.
  7. Provide feedback in opportunities for continuous process improvement and elimination of redundancy.
  8. Report directly to the Immigration Specialist Manager.
  9. Managing Employment Life-Cycle.
  10. Work on special projects, as assigned.

Requirements

  1. 5+ years of business immigration experience, either as a Paralegal or Immigration Specialist RCIC (Preference for O-1, E-2, EB-1, and EB-2 NIW experience).
  2. 1+ year of experience working in a law firm, corporate, or startup setting.
  3. Strong writing, logical reasoning, and communication skills.
  4. Strong client services skills:
    1. Experience directly interacting for customers via email, call, and video.
    2. Experience anticipating clients’ needs and addressing their concerns.
  5. Experience managing individual pipeline and proven ability to juggle multiple customers and priorities, keeping all customers informed of changes to deadlines.
  6. Ability to function independently while following established directions and processes with limited hand-holding.
  7. Strong attention to detail.
  8. Familiarity with JIRA, Notion, and Slack as a plus!
