We service over 10,000 ATMs across Canada, including banks (BMO, RBC), retailers (Walmart Canada), and other businesses, under the brands Ezee ATM and Access Cash.

Position: Service Technician

Location: Ottawa, Gatineau, and surrounding areas

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, Service Technicians deliver exceptional technical and customer service, ensuring optimal ATM performance. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing ATMs, communicating with customers, and servicing clients in the greater Ottawa area.

Major Responsibilities

• Set up new and used ATM terminals, ensuring they are functional, clean, programmed correctly, and communications are tested.
• Install and uninstall ATM terminals on-site.
• Provide basic on-site training to new customers on ATM loading and troubleshooting.
• Guide customers remotely via phone to resolve issues, following troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform in-person maintenance when remote resolution fails, diagnosing, repairing, and testing ATMs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on-site.
• Support internal teams and external customers with technical information and issue resolution guidance.
• Participate in rotating on-call support during evenings and weekends.
• Manage inventory in vehicles, ensuring tools and equipment are in order.
• Maintain company vehicle, reporting any issues and ensuring regular maintenance.
• Assist with additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma required; customer service and technical training are assets.
• Minimum 2 years experience with electronics and mechanical repairs.
• Experience with online service call software is an asset.
• Valid Quebec driver’s license with a clean record.
• Bilingual in English and French.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Availability for shift work, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate a cargo van.
• Comfortable working in a customer-focused environment and on a 3-week shift rotation.
