Job Title: Hotel Clerk Supervisor

Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.

Experience: 1 to less than 2 years.

Work Setting

• Hotel, motel, resort

Tasks

1. Coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
2. Establish work schedules and procedures.
3. Perform duties similar to those of workers supervised.
4. Prepare and submit reports.
5. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and quality.
6. Assist clients/guests with special needs.
7. Coordinate, assign, and review work.
8. Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
9. Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery; arrange repairs to ensure business continuity and customer service.
10. Requisition materials and supplies.

Supervision

Supervise 5-10 people.
