Scorecard Systems is the leader in reporting and analysis solutions for telecommunications companies across North America. Their solutions capture and assess sales results, regional penetration, campaign take rates, retention, bundling opportunities, subscriber segmentation, distribution channel analysis and other key metrics.
Growing rapidly, this innovative company is looking to hire three Intermediate Oracle/ SQL Server Developers to work remotely on internal projects. They are seeking a talented and focused individual who can contribute to their fast-paced growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. You will develop new cutting edge reporting applications to help some of the world’s top telecommunications companies succeed.
  2. Gather specifications and develop applications with minimal supervision.
  3. Test code (unit, integration, system, regression).
  4. Balance data from ODS to Rules to Reporting to Cube – responsible for testing the input and output balance, and providing the numbers to the next developer in the chain.
  5. Support for the code developed (unless code transitioned to a support person).
  6. Provide status updates to the Project Manager, including notification of red flags which may or may not impact the schedule.
  7. Report bugs to Architecture and the Project Manager.
  8. Fix issues that arise.
  9. Document code.
  10. Sign off on delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  1. 3-5 years of Relational Development Experience (Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures and Triggers).
  2. Writing, maintaining and converting SQL statements.
  3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to self-manage.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Command line scripting experience and advanced ETL work.
  2. Database Administration experience (SQL Server, TD, Netezza, etc.).
  3. Relational Development experience (SQL Server, TD, Netezza, etc.).
  4. OLAP experience (Essbase, MSAS, HyperRoll, Cognos, etc.).
  5. Reporting experience (Cognos, Crystal, Hyperion, etc.).
  6. Web development experience (VS.Net, Java, etc.).
  7. Tools / Utilities experience.

Salary range:

$60,000 – 70,000 base + bonus, you will also be entitled to benefits.
