These services include setting technology direction, project management, analysis, system architecture, software development, and operational support for our Individual Customer business unit.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and test software to specifications.
• Support production (including 24x7 on-call support).
• Provide consultation with the Systems Architect and Business Systems Analyst.
• Participate in project planning and assessments.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on best practices.
• Coach and mentor junior staff.
• Maintain knowledge of software design, methodologies, and documentation tools.
• Stay informed about current trends in the IT industry.

What you will bring:

• A degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least 7+ years of experience in a software developer role.
• Reliability Status security clearance, which is required to access protected information, assets, or work sites as per the Government of Canada.

Knowledge of client-server environment including SQL Server, C#, .NET, ASP, IIS, Web services, PowerShell, Control-M, MoveIT automation, and GIT Labs is an asset. Knowledge of mainframe environments using COBOL, DB2, and SAS is also an asset. Experience with agile development in a multisite environment, financial applications, and strong customer service and communication skills are valued. Proven leadership, analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to change are essential.

The base salary for this position ranges from $63,500 to $117,400 annually. This is the base salary only; additional variable compensation (bonuses, commissions) may apply. Our recruitment process will be open for a minimum of 5 business days, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
