Full Job Description

We are an agri-food processing company, leader in the production of apple and fruit puree, which employs over 280 people in the Haut-Saint-Laurent MRC region. In order to expand our team, we are currently looking for Electrical Technicians.

Role

The role of the Electrical Technician is to provide technical support and services in the design, development, testing, production, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Know and comply at all times with quality and food safety standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, procedures, and documents to determine the location of electrical equipment.
• Participate in the design, development, and testing of electrical and electronic components, equipment, and systems.
• Assist in the inspection, testing, adjustment, and evaluation of electrical, electro-mechanical, and electronic components and assemblies to ensure compliance with standards and tolerances.
• Install, operate, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
• Develop and integrate PLC systems.
• Use computer tools at their disposal.

Educational Background and Personal Experience

College diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology or equivalent, and/or years of experience in a similar position.
