The ideal person for this role will be a career-driven team player with excellent communication skills and experience with financial reporting and analysis. You will enjoy researching and collaborating with a small but mighty team! Reporting to the Manager, External Reporting, the main responsibilities include:

1. Provide transactional analysis against IFRS standards and internal policies
2. Prepare journal entries
3. Research complex accounting treatments and draft position papers
4. Other duties as required

Qualifications

Mandatory:

• Minimum 5+ years in a progressive accounting role, with 2 years’ experience in financial reporting under IFRS
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Must have resided in Canada for at least 10 years and be able to obtain Secret security clearance

Assets:

• Experience with TM1, Cognos, and/or Business Intelligence tools
• Salary range: $87,000 – $109,000 annually
