Salary range: $61,750-$75,237 per annum

ABOUT THE ROLE


As a member of the Global Talent team, the Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, sourcing and matching highly skilled volunteers to meet a variety of Cuso International’s local and international programs and project goals. Using a data-driven approach, they will create engaging marketing campaigns and implement innovative strategies to attract the right audiences and proactively connect them to placement opportunities. They will build contacts with key sources; act as the primary point of contact for volunteer inquiries, manage the Applicant Tracking System, work heavily with Cuso’s internal database; and build reports to analyze the market, website activity and track applicant data, to help inform strategies and decisions for effective recruitment.



RESPONSIBILITIES



Oversight of Recruitment Marketing Strategy



  • Lead the design and implementation of the volunteer recruitment strategy through a range of initiatives; including targeted marketing and utilization of external websites and platforms

  • Employ tactics to drive high-volume traffic to the placements page to increase viewership, application rates and newsletter subscribers;

  • Individually cater to and strategize on hard-to-fill, urgent and anticipatory placements

  • Track, record, and monitor recruitment campaigns and links using Google Analytics (GA4), (e.g website traffic, activity flow, page clicks, user demographic and event conversion (application submission))

  • Collaborate with the Communications and Marketing team to integrate volunteer recruitment promotion throughout Cuso’s digital strategy and improve campaign success;


Recruitment Sources Development, Partnership & Vendor Management



  • Cultivate an active and professional relationship with external contacts, including sector related, to tap into networks and support recruitment efforts;

  • Maintain database of recruitment sources to support targeted marketing and inform placement development aligned with the market;

  • Review contracts and terms with vendors; access budget and negotiate cost; make changes to services based on previous results, future needs and current constraints


Management of Candidate Communication, Sourcing, Matching, and Roster



  • Proactively source, network, and identify potential candidates through multiple channels including social platforms, career pages, job boards and external databases;

  • Foster relationships with active and passive candidates, screen, guide and match based on skills; reach out to previous applicants, alumni and new candidates that match current needs

  • Develop, maintain and actively update the roster of candidates and pro-actively assess against new opportunities

  • Be the main point of contact for volunteer inquiries, including queries related to application decisions

  • Monitor screening timelines and working with staff to ensure standards for communications are met


Applicant Tracking System, Database Management & Integration



  • Oversee the relationship with the applicant tracking system (ATS) service provider and ensure proper functioning and data hygiene - smooth, accurate and complete data flow into the volunteer database;

  • Identify and address issues using creative approaches, collaborating with technical supports when necessary, including external service providers; institute temporary workarounds when needed to ensure ongoing workflows

  • Communicate issues to affected applicants and staff as needed


Data Analysis, Budgeting & Reporting



  • Collect and analyze data to monitor recruitment marketing activities, trends, campaign spending resulting applications, and application data to determine success and inform the recruitment strategy

  • Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to assess the market, monitor quality of candidates and report key KPIs to funders

  • Conduct Canadian Skills Market Research to monitor supply and trends in the current market and to inform internal guidance and tools for placement development

  • Plan, monitor and manage the recruitment budget by project, ensuring effective use to achieve the best outcomes and highest ROI;

  • Receive invoices, coordinate timely payments and ensureaccurate financial coding and proper documentation


Collaboration with the Global Talent (GT) team



  • Work closely with members of the GT team to define and monitor recruitment plans based on annual volunteer delivery targets andin line with current market trends

  • Review, edit and post placement descriptions in line with standards (accurate, marketable, capture partner requirements and realistic timeframes)

  • Implement tactics for improved Search Engine Optimization (SEO);

  • Maintain a high-quality standard of recruitment and positive application experience;continually enhance and improve the application journey and user experience

  • Occasionally attend panel interviews to access candidates;

  • Provide cover to other staff as needed and undertake specific additional responsibilities from time to time, as may be agreed upon with their Line Manager including participation in events



POSITION QUALIFICATIONS



Essential



  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, human resources, international development or a relevant field

  • At least 5-7 year’s experience in high-volume recruitment with proven sourcing and matching experience through social media, resume databases, professional networks and other means

  • Experience creating and developing targeted marketing campaigns with engaging content

  • Advanced Excel with a high level of analytical, reporting and data interpretation skills

  • Solid project management skills to plan, track, coordinate, organize, multitask, and manage changing priorities

  • Experience managing databases and Applicant Tracking Systems

  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), creating tracked campaign links, monitoring, web activity, creating events and analyzing conversions

  • Strongresearch and understanding of current market dynamics and skills

  • Ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with people of diverse cultural backgrounds

  • Proven ability to increase web traffic activity and online presence

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
