The BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation Program Coordinator will contribute to the successful implementation of BCAITC programs. Our non-profit, charitable organization works with farmers, teachers, and agri-food business; we teach students about the story of our food and agriculture in BC. The position will coordinate the updating and distribution of educational learning resources to teachers; oversee the successful delivery of BCAITC programs; provide high-level administrative support; and contribute to the development and maintenance of positive relationships with BCAITC stakeholders. As a member of the BCAITC programs team, they will organize special events for teachers and donors.
The successful candidate will have outstanding organizational skills, excellent ability to multi-task and have strong attention to detail. Highly proficient use of Microsoft Office suite, strong interpersonal skills, service focused orientation, with superior written and oral communications skills are necessary for the position. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a coordination and or administration role, in the educational, agricultural and/or non-profit sector is preferred.
