MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading Premium Spirits producer on a 6-month fixed-term contract to hire a Commercial Brand Ambassador to lead On-Trade development in Ontario, Canada , with a strong focus on Toronto .

You’ll act as the brand’s face in the province — building brand love, driving commercial growth, and educating key trade influencers across premium hospitality venues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the brand across Ontario, delivering impactful education and training to trade partners
  • Drive new business growth through premium bars, restaurants, and hotels
  • Secure listings and cocktail menu placements in high-potential On-Trade accounts
  • Build strong relationships with bartenders, bar managers, and decision-makers
  • Execute in-venue brand activations, tastings, and promotional events
  • Work closely with distributor(s) and the Europe-based Export Manager to align on strategy and sales targets
  • Provide regular activity reports and market feedback
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, networking events, and local activations

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years' experience in spirits or premium beverage sales, with an On-Trade focus
  • Strong network within Toronto and wider Ontario hospitality scene
  • Confident educator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Commercially minded, self-driven and entrepreneurial
  • Passionate about sustainability, storytelling, and premium drinks culture
  • Willing to travel across Ontario and attend evening / weekend events
  • Valid driver’s license required

Salary & Package

  • KPI-based bonus / commission structure
  • Travel & expenses covered
  • 6-month fixed term contract (potential to go permanent)
