SQL Database Developer
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Salem, Oregon 97302 (REMOTE)
Role:
- The team includes an experienced Database Analyst Level IV specializing in designing and developing Microsoft SQL Server data structures, optimizing database interactions (SQL, stored procedures, ETL, etc.), in compliance with business, data security, regulatory requirements, legislative mandates, and court findings.
- This role will support Child Welfare (CW) plan items from previous years, CW Transformation strategies, data quality initiatives, and the transition to data-oriented decision making in CW practice.
- The contractor's key person will collaborate with various CW program areas and business teams to deliver strategic components for data modernization, legislative compliance, and court mandates.
Tasks:
- Develop database structures and process changes based on specifications from weekly Sprint planning, adhering to data standards, including those from the United States Postal Service where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with data security and access models.
- Follow Federal regulations for CCWIS design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Adhere to the change request process with the developer and Data Resource Management teams.
