The Senior Brand Manager, Canada, is an experienced marketing professional responsible for developing and executing the brand strategy for the Canadian market. The successful candidate has a track record of outperforming, with strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills to maximize planning and implementation.
We are looking for:
- Proven ability to develop strategies and implementation plans with metrics, and to execute them to completion.
- Experience in developing, delivering, and implementing innovative solutions (digital, non-digital, omnichannel, congresses, programs, etc.) to enhance HCP and patient experience and adoption.
- Proactive data analysis and integration into actionable insights, recommendations, and implementation.
- A critical mindset to assess and prioritize decisions, actions, and programs.
- Ability to set clear direction and collaborate with local and global cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding and application of PAAB and ASC codes.
- Excellent project management, vendor management, and budget management skills with attention to detail.
- Effective written and oral communication skills to develop clear, concise, and compelling messaging and content.
- Drive to learn, detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of thriving in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
- Minimum 3 years of marketing experience within the Canadian pharmaceutical industry.
- Recent experience in primary care, privately reimbursed products, with CNS experience as a bonus.
- Knowledge of regulatory/public-private reimbursement pathways is an asset.
- University degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed for business.
- Work from office 3 days/week or more as required, aligned with team and business needs.
- Fluent in English (required), French preferred.
Responsibilities and Tasks

In collaboration with global and local cross-functional teams, to ensure optimal stakeholder engagement:
- Develop impactful, differentiating, and behavior-changing strategies and tactics to meet and exceed objectives.
- Champion and develop omnichannel integrated programs, including field and non-field implementation.
- Identify, quantify, and develop business recommendations, prioritizing new opportunities.
- Train personnel on strategies, tactics, programs, omnichannel implementation, and messaging.
- Manage budgets, grants, sponsorships, congresses, and other activities as needed.
- Define objectives, gather stakeholder input, pivot when necessary, and recommend paths forward with minimal guidance.
- Accountable for ROI, brand investment, and profitability within the marketing mix.
- Aspire to drive product revenue and establish Idorsia Canada as a leading, trusted biopharmaceutical company.
