Simon-Kucher's sole focus is on unlocking better growth for our clients, increasing their long-term sales, value, and profit. We achieve this by optimizing every lever of their commercial strategy – customer engagement, product, pricing, innovation, marketing, distribution, and sales.

Our consulting teams are made up of industry-leading strategists with extensive experience in Financial Services (FS), including banking (retail, business, corporate), fintech, payments, wealth & asset management, and insurance (property & casualty, life & health). Thanks to our talent and expertise, we are equipped to respond to the most pressing challenges in financial services, providing clear, actionable guidance using data, deep analytics, research, and behavior science. Our FS consulting offerings are strengthened by a team of 130+ dedicated consultants led by 19 partners globally.

Whether designing growth, go-to-market, and innovation strategies, enhancing and innovating on product and pricing strategies with behavioral economics, reimagining distribution, or rebuilding sales organizations for today’s business realities, our Financial Services sector brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and pragmatism to every business challenge. We are looking for talented individuals to support and amplify the growth of this dynamic Financial Services team in North America.

What makes us special:
  • Become part of a unique entrepreneurial team. Think independently, use your initiative, and take some risks. Entrepreneurship is a powerful force that drives the growth not only of our firm but our clients and people.
  • Unlock the power of opportunity. Advance your career in a thriving company with a startup feel. We invest in your professional development every step of the way.
  • Enjoy balance and flexible working. Be empowered to do your best work – whether from home or in the office.
  • Prioritize your health and wellbeing. We offer a competitive suite of health benefits to help keep you and your loved ones safe, regardless of location.
  • Invest in your future. All US and Canadian employees enjoy 401(k) & RRSP benefits with company matching. Our Employee Bonus Opportunity Program ensures that as our firm grows, you grow with us.
  • Work in a values-driven culture. Our vision is to become the world's leading growth specialist. Our values guide our business practices and communication, shaping our culture and actions.
How you will create an impact:
  • Lead and manage client engagements, elevating analysis and insights, and infusing client-centric content, expertise, and knowledge into project deliverables.
  • Drive project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with client needs and managing project costs and margins.
  • Guide a talented team of junior consultants to develop innovative, actionable insights using data, analytics, and research.
  • Build trusted advisory relationships with senior clients by delivering tailored, high-quality recommendations.
  • Engage effectively with senior client stakeholders to understand needs and secure buy-in.
  • Expand capabilities, develop new tactics, and tools to support client business goals.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including lead generation, proposal development, and client pitches.
  • Deliver thought leadership and stay informed on industry trends.
  • Analyze processes and tools for continuous improvement.
  • Coach and develop team members, contributing to their career growth.
  • Participate in recruiting and integrating new FS consultants.
  • Contribute to the firm’s culture and success as a leader.
Your profile:
  • Driven, determined, and eager to grow within a top-tier consulting firm.
  • Strong passion and knowledge of the Financial Services sector.
  • Undergraduate degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years in professional services, ideally in strategy or management consulting for FS.
  • Proven expertise in growth strategies, go-to-market, segmentation, product design, pricing, marketing, distribution, and sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills for presenting to senior audiences.
  • Experience managing complex projects and leading teams within tight timelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements, budgets, and client relationships effectively.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with high emotional intelligence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Existing network within North American Financial Services industry is a plus.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
