Job description

Brandt is currently seeking a Sales Manager for our Rockyview Agriculture (John Deere) location.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  1. Achieving sales growth and profitability of the wholegoods department.
  2. Achieving asset management goals, including turn and aging, and protecting company assets such as new and used wholegood inventory.
  3. Providing the right inventory mix to meet sales and market share goals.
  4. Managing and developing all employees in the Sales Department to build a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers, and employees.
  5. Achieving market share goals for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company.
  6. Assisting in managing branch accounts receivables in collaboration with the Director of Credit Services and VPO of Operations.
  7. Building and maintaining lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
  8. Making confident decisions regarding financial transactions, sales strategy, budgeting, and forecasting.
  9. Applying high levels of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning.

Qualifications include:

  1. 7+ years of direct work experience in a sales management capacity.
  2. Experience in the heavy equipment industry is strongly preferred.
  3. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is considered an asset.
