Qualifications

4 or 8 month co-op term available in Barrie and Lindsay, Ontario.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Superintendent in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
  • Maintain plans, specifications, costs, and reports.
  • Manage construction schedules and cost control plans.
  • Procure materials and manage procurement schedules.
  • Process payment certificates and change orders.
  • Calculate productivity and material yields.
  • Conduct field services and maintain project diaries.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Educational & Experience Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Civil Engineering, Technologist, or Technician program.
  • Valid 'G'/Class 5 driver’s license.

Working Conditions
  • Standard 50 hours/week, with potential night/weekend work.
