Role:

Massage Therapists perform various massage techniques to reduce stress and promote relaxation, including Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, shiatsu, and hot stone therapies.

Responsibilities:

1. Enhance guest experience through exceptional service.
2. Greet all guests entering the spa.
3. Provide safe, appropriate, and effective massage techniques.
4. Review guest medical history prior to sessions; assess issues and suggest suitable massages.
5. Explain procedures and tailor techniques to guest needs and preferences.
6. Observe guest reactions and modify massage as needed; solicit and respond to feedback.
7. Educate guests about services performed.
8. Restock towels and supplies.
9. Report guest issues to management.
10. Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas and locker rooms.
11. Adhere to department and property policies.
12. Maintain and properly use equipment and products to control costs.
13. Ensure service area is stocked, cleaned, and sanitized.
14. Stay knowledgeable about services and products; educate and train guests accordingly.
15. Perform prep work, cleaning, and restocking of work area.
16. Communicate any occurrences involving staff or guests to management.
17. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment.
18. Participate in training and staff meetings.
19. Provide tours of the facility and disseminate information on products and services.
20. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• State certification as Massage Therapist.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• Proficiency in various skin massage techniques.
• Professional and positive image projection.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to sell spa & salon products and services.
