Purpose

The Sales Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of a Agilyx’s business development team.Responsibilities revolve around ensuring smooth sales processes, accurate data management, and alignment between sales and other departments.

The primary purpose of this role is to take responsibility to:

  • Support the North American sales team with bid responses and strategic insights.
  • Support the integrity of our sales data.
  • Make recommendations and document improvements to our sales process.

Responsibilities

The Sales Operations Support Analyst will work in the following areas:

  • Ensuring that the CRM system (Salesforce) is updated with accurate client information, sales activity, and pipeline data.
  • Generating regular reports (daily, weekly, or monthly) on sales performance, including quota attainment, revenue tracking, and forecast accuracy.
  • Analyzing sales data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for sales processes, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and clarity for the team.
  • Identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the sales process and suggesting improvements or automations.
  • Monitoring the sales pipeline to ensure deals are progressing and supporting the sales team in moving deals forward.
  • Assisting with sales forecasting by gathering data, validating inputs from the sales team, and ensuring the forecast is realistic and accurate.
  • Organizing team meetings, client calls, and sales events or conferences, ensuring smooth execution and logistics.
  • Assisting in tracking and calculating sales commissions and incentives based on performance metrics.
  • Acting as a liaison between sales and other departments (like marketing, finance, or customer support) to ensure that the sales team has the information and resources they need.
  • Facilitate warm introduction of qualified prospects to Account Executives.

Accountabilities

  • Conduct market research to support sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
  • Analyse customer feedback and sales data to improve customer satisfaction and sales processes.
  • Ensure all sales operations comply with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Lead or participate in sales-related projects to drive strategic initiatives and improvements.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed sales reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics.
  • Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and implemented improvements, resulting in increased productivity and efficiency.
  • Experience in the development of accurate sales forecasts and budgets based on historical data and market trends.
  • Ensured the accuracy and integrity of data within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, leading to improved data quality.
  • Knowledge of ERP/HR/Payroll/Financial software orSaaS-based software sales.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is desirable.
