Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services in your community, keeping the customer at the center of everything you do.

Why this role is important?

SUMMARY:

To maximize sales of beauty products and services sold by Shoppers Drug Mart.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Sales Expectations: Maximize sales and awareness of promotional programs; possess a "selling is fun" attitude; promote sales of beauty products; encourage customer participation in the PC Optimum program.
2. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Promote a positive environment for customers and coworkers; always put the customer first and provide superior customer service; actively use eClienteling to enhance service; promote products and the PC Optimum program; book appointments for in-store events.
3. OPERATIONS: Exhibit and promote company’s products and services; attend vendor training and workshops; adhere to Cosmetics Operating Standards.
4. GENERAL: Comply with health and safety regulations, store policies, and loss prevention procedures; act professionally; perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Independent thinking and decision-making.
• Selling skills in cosmetics.

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven consultative skills and sales track record.
• Knowledge of various beauty products and services.
• Ability to conduct consultations and demonstrate application techniques.
• Strong communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to bend and stretch to stock shelves.
