AEKM Compensation range is $70,000-$83,000 / year + 10% bonus potential.

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.

As an Assistant Executive Kitchen Manager, you will help lead our scratch kitchen, producing culinary items paired with Cooper’s Hawk wines. You will partner with the Executive Kitchen Manager to drive operational excellence and growth, coaching team members to ensure high-quality food and guest experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage kitchen operations, including Kitchen Managers and team members, ensuring smooth execution of dishes, prep, and line stations
  • Follow policies, manage operating systems, and oversee your area
  • Foster collaboration between kitchen and front of house
  • Represent Cooper’s Hawk brand and values, creating a positive work environment
  • Manage personnel : participate in hiring, review schedules, develop team members, and do side-by-side coaching
  • Lead community meetings and coach managers
  • Oversee kitchen training, food quality, menu roll-outs, and system initiatives
  • Conduct line checks, create prep lists, oversee inventory and supply ordering
  • Ensure food safety standards and maintain professional image
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • 2-3 years management experience in a full-service restaurant, scratch kitchen preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Certifications like ServSafe and relevant licensing preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 10+ hours
  • Work 50-60 hours / week, flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
