Kitchen Manager (for Remote Northern Mine Site)

Our goal is to staff these positions in remote Northern Saskatchewan mine sites and exploration camps. TO START ASAP

WE COVER THE COSTS OF YOUR TRANSPORTATION, as well as MEALS, & ACCOMMODATIONS WHILE AT SITE.

Who you are :

  • You are a passionate foodie and a strong team leader.
  • You are a Red Seal Chef ( preferably but not required).
  • You pay attention to detail and have excellent time management.
  • You go above and beyond to provide a great experience for our guests.

What you will do :

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a culinary team.
  • Manage food costs and inventory.
  • Maintain standards for food safety, food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.

Job Requirements - Let's not waste your time :

  • Experience with kitchen management within the service industry.
  • Jobs require shift work at remote sites - mining facilities & exploration camps.
  • The work schedules are 2 weeks in-and-out rotations.
  • You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
  • Knowledge of Vegan, Halal and Gluten allergy variation cooking skills.
  • Good knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Camp Manager programs.
  • Valid Driver's license preferred.
  • Current First responder certificate would be an asset.
  • You must be a team leader, who works well with others.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a larger team.
