$27.39-$29.69/hour

Schedule:
8:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday (70 hours bi-weekly)

Status:
Full time, Regular

Position's Primary Objectives:

This position provides housing-related case management services for outreach clients requiring ongoing support by:

  • Developing and managing client case plans to promote long-term housing stability;
  • Collaborating with partner agencies and community organizations to support clients;
  • Addressing issues impacting tenants' housing status;
  • Maintaining relationships with landlords and coordinating move-outs, repairs, and remediation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive case management services using a strength-based, client-centered approach, including:
  • Building therapeutic relationships, assisting with housing, identifying barriers, and setting goals;
  • Facilitating support meetings, providing training, and assisting with appointments;
  • Maintaining case files and reporting to the Manager;
  • Engaging with community partners for advocacy, referrals, and joint initiatives;
  • Establishing and managing relationships with landlords to support housing stability;
  • Handling tenancy issues and coordinating repairs;
  • Supporting documentation, policy development, and team participation.
Requirements
Qualifications:

Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related field; conflict resolution/crisis prevention training; minimum of one year of related experience; knowledge of mental health, addiction, homelessness, and local resources; conflict management skills; effective communication; proficiency in MS Office.


Additional Criteria:
  • First Aid Certification
  • Naloxone training
  • Valid driver’s license and access to vehicle with insurance

All staff must pass a Vulnerable Sectors Criminal Record Check. Employment is contingent upon proof of clearance.
