For this position, we are targeting students with backgrounds in Business Administration / Commerce, Economics, Information Technology, Data Science, or Finance. The Business Analyst Co-op will work closely with the Senior Business Advisor to drive performance reporting, metric tracking, and process improvements aligned with our Management Operating System. This role is suited for someone strategic, analytically inclined, detail-oriented, and passionate about business and technology. You will gain exposure to strategy, planning, and performance in a multi-national corporation, develop and present consulting-level presentations, and leverage programming skills to streamline analytical tasks.

If not located nearby, you must be willing to commute or relocate for the entire co-op duration. You must be enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution throughout the co-op and plan to return post-completion. Proof of work permit may be required.

Salary Range:

$4,000 - $5,100 / Month, based on academic progress and experience

Responsibilities:

• Safety & Compliance: Lead safety initiatives and adhere to environmental rules
• Performance Reporting: Coordinate and execute performance reports aligned with MOS
• Data Analysis & Dashboard Creation: Collect, verify, analyze data, and develop dashboards using Excel, Power BI, etc.
• Communication & Presentation: Prepare and deliver presentations to diverse stakeholders
• Process Enhancement: Identify gaps, support decision-making, and document processes
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Finance, HR, Communications, and others
• Technical Support: Use programming knowledge to automate reporting and improve data access

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a post-secondary program in relevant fields
• Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI and SharePoint is a plus
• Passion for business and technology; understanding of programming
• Ability to create professional presentations
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and quick learner
• Experience with process mapping or performance frameworks is an asset
• Case Competition experience is a plus
