Location: 150 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 2E9

• Workplace: On site
• Salary: $27.00 per hour, 40 hours per week
• Terms: Permanent, Full-time
• Schedule: Day, Evening, Morning shifts
• Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balances of books
• Reconcile accounts

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to 2 years
• Computer skills: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word
• Work conditions: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, overtime, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, work under pressure
