A leading health authority in Canada is seeking a Surgical Care Nurse to join their multidisciplinary health care team. This role involves assessing and providing surgical nursing care to patients and requires an RN registration along with specialized training. Ideal candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently under limited supervision.

Working as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, the Surgical Care Nurse functions as an experienced self-directed surgical care nurse by assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceRegistration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant; and
Post-basic education in surgical/ambulatory care nursing on a unit specific basis; or
An equivalent combination of education and training.
Up to two (2) years recent, related experience on a unit specific basis.
