A leading healthcare institution seeks an experienced Surgical Care Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team. This role involves comprehensive patient care responsibilities including assessment and evaluation, requiring BC RN registration and relevant surgical nursing training. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and a commitment to safety.

Working as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, the Surgical Care Nurse functions as an experienced self-directed surgical care nurse by assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceRegistration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant; and
Post-basic education in surgical/ambulatory care nursing on a unit specific basis; or
An equivalent combination of education and training.
Up to two (2) years recent, related experience on a unit specific basis.
