About the Team & Business Line :

About You :

• You have an accounting/finance background with relevant experience, demonstrated by:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 1-2 years of work experience in hedge/mutual funds or investment fund accounting
• Nearly qualified or completed CA, CMA, CGA, CPA, or CFA (preferred but not mandatory)
• Understanding of investment strategies and financial products, including derivatives
• Supervisory or management experience is advantageous
• Comfortable coordinating with various teams in an operations environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong financial reporting, analytical, and organizational skills
• Proficient in Office, especially Excel
• Ability to thrive in a challenging, professional environment

Your Role :

• Maintain books and records of funds, prepare financial reports, and investor allocations.
• Follow global procedures and internal best practices.
• Collaborate with a team of Fund Accountants and local management to serve investment managers and institutional investors.
• Perform hedge fund portfolio valuations.
• Analyze fund performance and prepare related reports.
• Investigate and resolve valuation and P&L issues with clients.
• Verify prices and prepare sign-off packages.
• Ensure compliance with service agreements.
• Oversee complex NAV calculations and investor P&L allocations.
• Maintain financial records, including reconciliations and reviews of cash, trades, and dividends.
• Book activity related to corporate actions, income, expenses, fees, and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with client agreements.
• Collaborate to improve product quality and lead migrations and fund launches.
• Train and support team members.
• Serve as a client contact, responding to queries and escalating as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of investment processes and products to assist with inquiries.
• Liaise with internal and external parties such as auditors, brokers, legal counsel, and investment managers.
• Assist with ad hoc projects.
