Position: Senior Electrician or Electrician

Application Period: May 12, 2025 – May 27, 2025

Senior Electrician

• Annual Salary Range: $96,504 - $117,336
• Minimum Qualifications:
• Completion of a two-year program (52 semester units) in electrical and electronics at an accredited academic, trade, or technical school.
• Seven (7) years of journey-level electrician/electronic experience, including two years of lead or supervisory responsibilities.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Electrician

• Annual Salary Range: $87,528 - $106,416
• Minimum Qualifications:
• Option 1: Six (6) years of full-time, paid work experience at journey level in a commercial and/or industrial setting.
• Option 2: Certificate of completion from an electrician apprenticeship program and two (2) years of journey-level experience.
• Option 3: Four (4) years of full-time, paid work experience as an Electrician Apprentice with the District.
• Option 4: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of 52 semester units at an accredited school, and four (4) years of journey-level electrical work experience.

Special Requirements

• Must qualify to issue and receive clearances and perform switching at high voltage installations up to 115 KV within twelve (12) months of appointment.
• Valid California Class C Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
