Job Description: Promotions Coordinator – Scholars Education Montreal (Multi-Location)
Position Overview
The Coordinator for Scholars Education in Montreal will be responsible for driving the visibility, reputation, and growth of two education centres in the West Island and South Shore. This dynamic role focuses on establishing connections within the community, building partnerships, and executing promotional activities to attract new students and families. The Coordinator will travel regularly between both sites and serve as the face of the brand in local outreach efforts, with a strong commitment to making a positive impact on the educational journeys of families and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase awareness, leads and enrollment at both Scholars Education locations in Montreal.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local schools, community organizations, and businesses to create partnership and referral opportunities.
- Represent Scholars Education at community events, school fairs, networking functions, and other outreach opportunities to promote services and programs.
- Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and in-person initiatives, tailored to each location’s needs.
- Organize and host open houses, information sessions, and special events to engage prospective families and partners.
- Monitor and analyze promotional campaign effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal results.
- Maintain up-to-date records of contacts, leads, and partnership activities in the company’s CRM or database.
- Collaborate with site managers and head office to ensure brand consistency and alignment of promotional efforts.
- Prepare promotional materials, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay informed about local educational trends and competitor activities to inform outreach strategies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in promotions, business development, community outreach, or a related field, preferably within education or youth programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and represent the company professionally.
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects across different locations.
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly between both locations (valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required).
- Flexibility to work some evenings or weekends for events and outreach activities.
- Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with event planning and public speaking.
- Familiarity with local community organizations and educational networks.
- Creative, proactive, and results-oriented approach to problem-solving and campaign execution.
- Additional Languages Preferred: Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese), Vietnamese, or Arabic is considered a strong asset.
- The Coordinator will spend time between two Scholars Education locations, with frequent travel required.
- Occasional remote work or attendance at off-site community events.
