Job description

The ideal candidate will be an experienced INTERNATIONAL HR professional to support operations in North America, based in Calgary, AB. Will be supporting the HR leadership team by alleviating administrative burdens Ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions, with a focus on payroll processing backup, compliance, and benefits administration Collaborate with HR leadership to identify areas for process improvement Contribute to HR projects and global HR initiatives Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Lead stakeholder to ensure availability of required supporting documentation for PIT compliance and tracking and ensure the accuracy of information delivered to Accounting for PIT payments. Assist employees with benefit claims. Maintain and verify data related to premiums renewals in human resources information systems (HRIS). Ensure compliance with local, national and global regulations and applicable employment laws, recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area ~International experience must have US experience!~ Previous hands on payroll processing, compliance, and benefits administration. ~ Spanish Speaking a plus! 90,000 - $110,000 and medical benefits available to employee.
