This role is permanent, full-time, with a 37.5-hour work week and overtime eligibility.

Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute maintenance projects, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions, supporting day-to-day operations and long-term planning.
• Manage, coach, and develop the Maintenance team, conducting evaluations and providing feedback to ensure skill development and achievement of departmental goals.
• Handle administrative tasks such as approving overtime, updating Dayforce, and managing vacation schedules.
• Conduct shift handover meetings, provide project updates, assign tasks, and communicate necessary measures.
• Support cost containment by monitoring labor overtime and other expenses.
• Perform safety inspections related to GMP compliance, equipment, and production lines, ensuring adherence to health and safety policies.

Recipe for Success:

• Post-secondary education in Engineering or a related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within food/baking sectors.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, automation systems, PLCs, instrumentation, robotics, and bulk handling systems.
• Experience with facility maintenance and plant equipment management.
• Ability to plan, schedule, prioritize, and allocate resources effectively.
• Proficiency in CMMS, Microsoft Office Suite, and related software.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Demonstrates leadership, safety consciousness, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
