Job Description

The Cash Management Group at Canaccord Genuity is seeking a Business Development Associate to join our high-performing team of finance professionals. We manage over $5 billion in client assets and value individuals who demonstrate grit, integrity, hard work, and innovative thinking.

This role requires strong market research skills and the ability to complete tasks efficiently. Working closely with a team of over 30 finance professionals, you will receive mentoring and training to understand our business operations. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and keen attention to detail are essential for success. This is a full-time onsite position based in our downtown Vancouver office.

Responsibilities
  • Manage client and partner relationships following our call-first policy;
  • Assist the sales team in setting up meetings with prospects;
  • Track and report monthly sales metrics such as calls and meetings;
  • Cultivate the lead pipeline;
  • Provide ad hoc support to the sales team.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or higher;
  • Completion or ongoing pursuit of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC);
  • Vibrant and professional demeanor;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to articulate clearly;
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, and proactive;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Adaptability to a dynamic and demanding environment;
  • Team player with initiative to improve processes and identify opportunities;
  • Polished appearance suitable for a formal business environment;
  • Proficiency in Excel;
