Job description

We are looking for dynamic professionals to join our growing Governance, Risk and Compliance Services (GRCS) practice at a Senior Manager level.

Our Risk Services - Governance, Risk and Compliance Services (GRCS) professionals provide a range of risk advisory services to organizations including internal control advisory services, internal audit, enterprise risk management support, assessments of third-party relationships, regulatory compliance, governance reviews and sustainability initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a lead role in executing the strategic business plan to grow market share and lead a team of professionals dedicated to internal control over financial reporting (ICFR), IPO market for sectors such as Technology, Media, Telecom, financial institutions, industrial markets, and other high-growth sectors in governance, risk, and compliance services. We seek a dynamic self-starter with leadership capabilities and experience in internal controls over financial reporting, internal audit, enterprise risk, and compliance.

What you will do

1. Lead advisory engagements on NI 52-109 and SOX 404 programs, including project management for internal controls.
2. Facilitate internal control risk assessments and advise on strategies to manage ICFR risks.
3. Design and implement internal control frameworks from strategic to operational levels.
4. Engage in risk-related projects such as business process reviews and controls advisory for business transformations.
5. Develop, implement, and report on internal audit plans, including outsourcing or co-sourcing arrangements.
6. Create analyses, engagement plans, reports, and presentations, reviewing the quality of work by team members.
7. Lead business development efforts including proposals, marketing, research, and presentations.
8. Manage projects of various sizes, oversee budgets, timelines, mentor team members, and maintain client relationships.
9. Lead multiple client engagements, ensuring high-quality, timely, and standards-compliant work.

What you bring to the role

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• 6-10 years of experience in internal control, SOX404, or internal audit within a public accounting firm, advisory, or multinational organization.
• Experience in establishing internal controls programs and evaluating controls.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls principles, technical controls, and compliance research.
• Exceptional leadership, supervision, and mentorship skills.
• Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills, including report writing and executive presentations.
• Experience in internal controls over financial reporting; IPO experience is advantageous.
• Current knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting, internal auditing standards, and relevant legislations.
• Professional designations such as CA, CMA, CPA, or CIA, with a strong background in financial accounting, reporting, and process improvement.
• Ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams.
