Job description

We are currently seeking to employ a qualified individual to oversee the scheduling, booking, and management of artists. This position is critical in ensuring the availability of artists and in promoting their creative endeavors. The responsibilities associated with this role include negotiating contracts, managing logistics, and cultivating professional relationships within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive career strategies for artists, including the scheduling of performances, tours, and events.
  • Efficiently manage artist schedules, negotiate contracts and fees with venues, and coordinate all logistical aspects of events.
  • Build and maintain strong professional networks with venues, promoters, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with artists to facilitate smooth bookings and ensure successful performances.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements pertinent to artist bookings.
  • Identify and assess emerging talent and new opportunities within the industry.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective relationship building and contract negotiation.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills are critical for the efficient management of schedules and logistics.
  • Proficiency in sales and negotiation is required to secure bookings and negotiate appropriate fees.
  • A thorough understanding of the music industry or relevant artistic fields, including current trends, artists, and venues, is essential.
  • Previous experience in a related field, such as internships at talent booking agencies or in roles as art directors, is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
