—————— Job Description ——————

As a Business Coach at GoWILD, your mission is to help home service business owners stop feeling overwhelmed and start building businesses they’re proud of. Through 1-on-1 Zoom coaching, you’ll bring expert-level strategy, accountability, encouragement, and guidance—gently helping clients move through fear, doubt, and procrastination when it shows up (and it always does).

You’ll walk alongside clients as they navigate revenue plateaus, messy systems, hiring hurdles, and those “what am I even doing?” moments—supporting them as they grow into confident, organized, high-performing business owners (who still get to be human). We’re not just in the business of business, we’re in the business of transformation.

This role is mostly remote, with the occasional in-person team event, where we connect, laugh, and remind ourselves how great real-life high-fives are. We value leadership, curiosity, optimism, effectiveness, and empathy—and we love working with people who do too.

Real talk: This job will stretch you. Some days will be challenging, and there’s real growth in that. But if you show up with curiosity, stay steady through the ups and downs, and trust the process, you won’t just become a stronger coach—you’ll become the most empowered version of yourself.

—————— What You’ll Be Doing ——————

You’ll work directly with clients and help them by:

  • Coaching them 1-on-1 on Zoom using GoWILD’s proven coaching playbook (no need to reinvent the wheel)
  • Guiding them through business hurdles—and the occasional life meltdown
  • Helping them grow revenue and finally clean up their chaotic operations
  • Leading and participating in group coaching calls (where magic and breakthroughs happen)
  • Dropping gold nuggets of wisdom tailored to the home service world
  • Keeping clients happy, focused, and moving forward—even when life gets messy
  • Collaborating with a smart, supportive, slightly over-caffeinated coaching team
  • Holding clients accountable to grow and stay consistent
  • Helping people become better versions of themselves—so they can build better versions of their businesses
  • Joining future retreats and in-person events where we connect & learn

—————— Required Previous Experience ——————

You must bring:

  • 3+ years of one-on-one or group coaching, consulting, counseling, or mentoring
  • 3+ years of experience owning a business, managing a business, or leading a division
  • 3+ years of team leadership, with a focus on accountability, motivation, and 5-star customer service

Preferred but Not Required Experience:

While not required, candidates with the following backgrounds often thrive in this role:

  • Experience in the home service industry (pressure washing, window cleaning, landscaping, HVAC, roofing, painting, plumbing, etc.)
  • Background in athletic, business, life, sales, leadership or personal development coaching

If supporting, encouraging, and listening to others doesn’t come naturally, this isn’t the role for you. (If you are drained by regular one-on-one client interactions, this role will not be a fit.)

3. You must be driven and bring positive energy.

If you don’t enjoy setting goals, staying motivated, and showing up with optimism—even on tough days—this job won’t feel like home.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Experience tracking KPIs and driving performance
  • Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving
  • Solid understanding of business operations and efficiency
  • Familiarity with goal-setting, personal development, and behavior change strategies

—————— Technology Requirements ——————

  • Good Internet Connection (Minimum 50 Mbps, ideally 100 Mbps)
  • Computer or Laptop (Core i5, 8 GB RAM, SSD)
  • Webcam (1080p or better)
  • Headset and/or quiet environment (Noise-canceling, comfortable)
  • Phone or Tablet (for mobile work)
  • Noise-Canceling Environment (Optional, to reduce background noise); A quiet, private room or office where external distract.

  • Must be able to work from home with a reliable internet connection
  • Must be available to work full-time hours (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday)
  • Must reside in British Columbia, Canada
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day)
