Treasury Management that Drives Business Results

As a Treasury Manager, you will manage covenant reporting, foreign exchange including hedging and derivatives, and complete cash management and forecasting for Home Hardware Stores Limited. You will lead the management, development, and implementation of treasury processes and policies, working closely with key business partners. Led by the Vice-President, Corporate Finance, this role suits a collaborative finance leader with solid experience in cash forecasting, capital management, and foreign exchange management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the periodic cash management process, including forecasting, analysis, communication of results, and reporting to the Leadership Team.
  2. Prepare timely and accurate bank reporting on a monthly basis.
  3. Contribute to the management, development, implementation, and execution of banking and credit rating strategies and negotiations.
  4. Build and maintain positive relationships with banking and credit rating partners.
  5. Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to stakeholders to drive business results and support growth within the treasury function.
  6. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards.
  7. Coordinate derivatives platforms, including strategy development, trade liaison, and execution.
  8. Prepare Treasury presentations for the leadership team and external partners.
We’re looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; CPA preferred.
  • Five to ten years’ experience in Finance, Banking, or Treasury.
  • Ability to interact and consult with senior decision-makers.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Oracle Financials and MS Dynamics 365 is an asset.
  • Business and financial acumen to drive performance and embrace change.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
  • Onsite presence three days a week at our St. Jacobs office, supporting our hybrid work model.
