The Maliya Wellness Centre, located in the beautiful town of Cochrane, Alberta, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in women’s health with expertise in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely while being supported by an in-house team of collaborative healthcare professionals and support staff. Together, we will provide comprehensive care for our clients as they navigate their menopausal journeys.

A successful candidate will perform the following :

• Conduct virtual consultations to assess and manage perimenopause / menopause / PMDD / PCOS symptoms and more.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans, including synthetic or bioidentical HRT when appropriate, based on patient needs and evidence-based guidelines.
• Educate patients about treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in the Jane EMR system in compliance with PIPEDA regulations.
• Utilization of the Jane EMR system for client documentation, scheduling, virtual meetings, compensation maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records in compliance with PIPA regulations.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies.
• Make local referrals necessary to address patients' healthcare needs effectively.
• Prescribe BHRT through local compounding pharmacies.
• Monitor clients' experiences with bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) through our existing structured protocol, managing their concerns, prescriptions, referrals, and tracking their successes.
• Dedicate yourself to improving client outcomes, especially with HRT management, symptom relief, holistic approaches, and long-term health improvements.
• Thorough comprehensive health assessments, symptom tracking, and documentation, ensuring every aspect of care is recorded in the Jane EMR.

A successful candidate will have the following :

• Advanced training in Bioidentical and Synthetic HRT.
• Registered with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Current private independent Registration with Netcare.
• Individual insurance and liability.
• Commitment to attending monthly staff meetings virtually or in person.

• Your independent contractor commission is paid bi-monthly via direct deposit.

Job Type : Part-time

Pay : $135.00-$270.00 per hour

Expected hours : 15 – 20 per week
