About the Position: Full-time Utility – this is an entry-level position in a large flour milling plant in Port Colborne, Ontario. The successful applicant will be cross-trained in operational positions to meet operational needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Training will be provided; the successful candidate will meet expectations within a reasonable period
• Prioritize safety in all tasks
• Complete all paperwork accurately and legibly
• Monitor, operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment
• Perform material handling and light maintenance duties
• Adhere to Safety Rules, GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety protocols
• Perform sanitation duties following GMP standards for food safety
• Attend all required health, safety, and food safety training
• Work in hot, cold, or wet conditions
• Shift work, overtime, and weekends are required
• Demonstrate good communication skills, ability to follow directions, and perform tasks safely and independently
• Work safely with machinery and troubleshoot operational issues
• Possess basic computer skills, numeracy, and record accuracy
