We are seeking an experienced ERP Dynamics365/PowerBI Business Analyst to join a company in the energy sector, located in Montreal. This is a permanent, hybrid position (a few days a month on site).

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology (IT), the incumbent will play a key role in enhancing existing application solutions and deploying new business solutions across all company sectors. Responsibilities include managing assigned projects from planning to execution, optimizing business processes, and providing user support in your areas of expertise.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with super-users to analyze business needs and recommend solutions.
  2. Manage all stages of IT projects: needs analysis, mandate definition, approval, and follow-up of project plans.
  3. Translate business and functional needs for partners and suppliers.
  4. Identify integration issues and project impacts proactively to facilitate design and implementation.
  5. Act as a technical expert for all corporate systems (ERP Dynamics 365, CRM, Power BI, PowerApps, etc.). Define, optimize, and apply best practices.
  6. Define, optimize, and apply access management and deployment methodologies, processes, and procedures for application systems (SOX and 52-109 compliance).
  7. Coordinate and resolve Level 3 application incidents and problems.
  8. Participate in the selection and implementation of new technologies, train and support super-users and technicians through clear training and documentation.
  9. Develop and maintain up-to-date business process diagrams.
Qualifications
  • University degree in business technology management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in IT business analysis, including ERP implementation or evolution.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and/or Dynamics AX (an asset).
  • Mastery of one or more business areas such as finance, sales, purchasing, production, inventory management, quality, or human resources.
  • Good understanding of project management principles, with experience in Agile methodology.
  • Proven ability to use modeling and analysis tools and methods.
  • Effective communication skills with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform and Azure DevOps (an asset).
  • Analytical mindset, sense of synthesis, results-oriented.
  • Excellent organizational skills, effective time and priority management.
  • Fluency in both French and English, with clarity and conciseness in communication and writing.

Note: The use of English is required for this position because:
- Communication with international customers, some of whom are abroad.
- Working with English-speaking partners, suppliers, and managing contracts.
- Drafting reports, proposals, and contracts in English for our international clients.
