A leading civil construction company is seeking a motivated Land Survey Technician to join their mobile survey team. This full-time role involves performing various survey tasks across job sites in the lower mainland, including field surveying, data collection, and assisting with site servicing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the civil construction industry and a desire to expand their skills in a dynamic environment.

Salary: $37.00 per hour

THE ROLE:
We are looking for a motivated, passionate individual who is looking to expand their real-life knowledge and skills in the civil construction industry. The Land Survey Technician position involves working with our mobile survey team, performing various survey tasks at all of our job sites within the lower mainland.
Responsibilities:
· D Field surveying using Trimble GPS and Total Stations
· Layout, control and reading/interpreting of as-built drawings
· Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations and other geodetic measurements
· Verify accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at sites for the purpose of installing watermains, storm and sanitary sewers, communications lines and building roads
· Collecting and recording of as-built data
· Perform volume calculations and manage CAD-related tasks efficiently
· Reading blueprints, understanding line and grades
· Assisting site servicing crews with installing sewers, watermains, sanitary lines, building roads, etc.
