Job Description: Traffic Supply Chain Leader (SCL)
Join CQ Search Group Ltd. as a Traffic Supply Chain Leader (SCL). This role involves setting the agenda and executing the strategy of the Business Unit, with responsibility for all site Traffic operations. The SCL will enable their teams to meet Business Unit expectations across People, Quality, Service, and Cost Key Performance Measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee transportation operations to ensure service quality and On Time Delivery, resolving operational issues as they arise.
- Cost Efficiency & Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, control operational costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Asset Strategy & Yard Management: Optimize asset utilization, fleet efficiency, and yard operations.
- Team Growth & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the transportation team, including staffing, onboarding, and retention programs.
- Strategic Growth Initiatives: Implement strategies to improve processes and support business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience in Supply Chain, including Traffic/Fleet or Warehouse/Distribution.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of achieving results.
- Availability for off-shift and weekend work.
- Monthly travel to Moncton Traffic Hub required.
- Strong commitment to team development and collaboration.
- Results-driven with focus on KPIs such as OTD, Safety, and Costs.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with systems like SAP, ETM, DPS, WMS, YMS, Geotab.
