The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Manager, Medical Communications to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a strategic role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of scientific content, client management, and team leadership. You’ll lead projects across therapeutic areas, mentor junior writers, and serve as a strategic partner to clients looking to translate complex data into meaningful communications that inform, educate, and inspire action.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the development of high-quality scientific content across a range of deliverables (e.g., slide decks, advisory board materials, training content, medical education tools, publications, etc.)
• Provide strategic guidance and oversight on project planning, client communications, and internal workflows
• Manage and mentor a team of medical writers and / or consultants, supporting their professional development and ensuring editorial excellence
• Ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and on brief
• Act as a key client contact and build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, KOLs, and external collaborators
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives, proposal development, and new business efforts as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, or MSc strongly preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in medical communications or a related role in a pharmaceutical, medical education, or consulting environment
• Proven ability to write and edit complex scientific content for a variety of audiences
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience mentoring or managing junior staff
• Confidence and professionalism in client-facing roles
• A collaborative mindset and a desire to contribute to a strong team culture
