Job description

Position Title : Registered Pharmacy Technician

Location : Downtown Victoria, BC, Canada

Department : Pharmacy

Reports to : Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure accuracy of prepared medication by checking prescriptions, maintaining legal compliance, and upholding product quality standards.
2. Count and reconcile Narcotic and Controlled medications accurately.
3. Stay current with legal requirements, professional standards, and workplace policies.

Qualifications:

• Licensed and registered with the College of Pharmacists as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of continuous work experience in a pharmacy setting (Long Term Care, Hospital, or Retail).
• Knowledge of PacMed or PacVision is an asset.
• Bilingual proficiency (English / French) is an asset.
