Overview

The Account Director will lead client results through data-driven decision-making, overseeing the full cycle of campaign implementation from strategy to execution. You will manage a cross-functional team of performance media specialists to deliver integrated campaigns and serve as the senior client liaison, communicating with senior marketing leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of performance media specialists to deliver successful digital and integrated campaigns
  • Build strong relationships with senior clients to advance projects and understand their business deeply
  • Streamline processes for more effective operations
  • Continuously optimize campaigns and seek improvements in marketing effectiveness
  • Coordinate with teams to plan and execute strategies aligned with client objectives, budgets, and timelines
  • Develop innovative strategies and tactical plans for brand and product growth
  • Allocate budgets across media channels and create media mix scenarios for effective planning
  • Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards, overseeing budget pacing and forecasts
  • Mentor team members and conduct semi-annual reviews for professional development
  • Support leadership in promoting best practices and industry thought leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in advertising, marketing, business, communications, or related fields
  • 8+ years of progressive experience, emphasizing digital and performance media
  • Strong business acumen in data-driven marketing environments
  • Expertise in online and offline channels: video, programmatic, social media, paid search, TV, radio, OOH
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to opportunities
  • Quantitative and analytical skills, embracing both art and science
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with campaign management tools like Prisma, DDS, Ad Ops
  • Experience in the financial sector and certifications such as Facebook Blueprint or Google certifications are advantageous
