Role Overview:

The SOC Analyst is crucial in safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring the security of Humi & Employment Hero’s systems. Responsibilities include monitoring security events, conducting threat assessments, ensuring compliance, supporting incident response, implementing security solutions, and collaborating to enhance security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security events with SIEM tools, addressing incidents to mitigate risks.
• Resolve SOAR events and incidents, engaging global SOC team members as needed.
• Design and develop automated remediations within SOAR.
• Identify improvements in security platforms based on threat intelligence.
• Perform vulnerability scans, threat assessments, and develop remediation strategies.
• Support incident management with root cause analysis and documentation.
• Conduct cloud security reviews aligned with security-by-design principles.
• Maintain documentation for security procedures and foster knowledge sharing.
• Review dark web mentions, data leaks, and credential alerts to develop protective strategies.
• Engage stakeholders to review alerts and resolve issues collaboratively.

Qualifications:

• Experience with security tools such as Endpoint Protection, SASE, GRC, MDM, Email Gateway, IDP, WAF, and Phishing Training.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, 27017, 27018 frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with incident response, investigations, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• At least 3 years in a similar role.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous learning and staying current with cybersecurity trends.
• Ownership, accountability, and initiative in project management.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to challenge ideas and engage stakeholders.
• Innovative in developing security improvements.
