Location: Hybrid / Coquitlam Campus
Salary Range: $71,846 - $115,129 annually. Placement on the faculty salary scale is based on education, professional certification, and experience, in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

WHAT IT TAKES

The Faculty of Applied Community Studies seeks a Coordinator for their Youth Justice Diploma Program.

This position begins September 1, 2025, for an initial one-year term, with potential extensions up to three years. The role includes 1.5 sections of time release for the 2025-2026 academic year.

As a Coordinator, you will share responsibilities in planning, organizing, and managing the administrative and operational aspects of the program, including:

  • Monitoring student progress and addressing student issues
  • Organizing student selection and registration processes
  • Managing workload and course scheduling
  • Organizing orientation and facilitating practicum placements
  • Providing academic advising and maintaining communication with students and faculty
  • Convening and documenting faculty/staff meetings
  • Engaging faculty and participating in college meetings and policy adherence
Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in a related human service field
  • Willingness to operate with transparency and disclosure
  • Attention to detail for daily operations
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Responsiveness to student concerns and inquiries
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • No conflict of commitment (see College's Conflict of Interest Policy)
