About Our Opportunity:
Working within the mission, vision, values, and person-centred philosophy of the Agency, the Program Manager is responsible for the management, quality, and supervision of a complex, multi-site portfolio, including managing a youth safe house, pre-employment program, arts program, 2SLGBTIA+ program, and overseeing the Reaching Home subsidy program. As a member of the management team, the Program Manager supervises staff members, participates in budgeting, and manages within their budget, as well as fostering relationships with funders and other internal and external parties. The manager will work with colleagues and co-workers in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve excellence in client and family-centered care, within a complex multi-site environment that extends to the community. It actively supports the Agency’s awareness and goals around diversity and inclusion.
Work Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Salary: MGP5 $91,747.50 - $101,731.50 annual salary range

Directions Youth Services is a division of Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV), which for more than 90 years has provided a variety of essential resources for children, families, and individuals in the Greater Vancouver community. We believe in the resiliency of Vancouver’s youth who are at-risk, homeless, and street-involved. We assist youth under the age of 25 to get counselling for trauma, mental health, or substance issues. Our teams strive to create spaces and build connections with youth who are facing challenges of street life, substance use, mental health concerns, and disconnection from their communities. Directions inclusive programs of shelter and drop-in, safe houses, and other unique programs are committed to being a community leader in harm reduction work and fostering low-barrier spaces where all youth are welcome.
