We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Digital Writer with strong journalistic skills and digital news experience to join the ICI Grand Nord team, which includes videojournalists and reporters across Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Nunavik. The role is based in Whitehorse (preferably) or Yellowknife, and involves writing and editing original articles daily, covering stories relevant to all territories, including environment, economy, politics, social and Indigenous issues, and the French-speaking community.
The position requires creating and coordinating digital news content, adding multimedia elements, editing team members' work, and managing assignments efficiently. This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime and scheduling adjustments based on operational needs. The role involves collaboration with reporters and videojournalists, adhering to CBC/Radio-Canada journalistic standards.
