We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Senior Technical Specialist in North Vancouver, BC. The Senior Technical Specialist will be responsible for implementing and supporting the strategic direction of identity and access management both on-premise and in the cloud. The Senior Technical Specialist must be able to provide strong technical recommendations and configuration to enable the seamless use of security controls, propose creative solutions and have the ability to implement enterprise identity and access management solutions.

The successful candidate will have 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure architecture, technical design, and strategic planning and possess essential education experience such as Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field, or have extensive equivalent work experience.

• Hours : 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday

• Fixed Salary Range : $92,729.00 - $100,427.60

Roles and Responsibilities

• Providing technical expertise and implementation of secure, scalable enterprise identity & access management solutions.
• Managing and leading high complexity business requirements and solutions design and delivering at the enterprise level.
• Enhancing and expanding ICBC’s multi-factor authentication (MFA) landscape.
• Implementing, configuring and manage SaaS single sign-on (SSO) and secured authentication protocols.
• Designing and implement PAM solution securing privileged accounts and monitor privileged access.
• Implementing security controls to protect against unauthorized access
• Interpreting detailed information, while being enterprise aware, considering different and complex solution options and providing recommendations.
• Consulting and facilitating solution sessions, presenting and collaborating with IT and business partners in order to deliver secure solutions that meet business requirements.
• Be the technical identity and access subject matter expert with team members as well as other technical and business communities.
• Analyzing risk and ensuring compliance to ICBC security governance requirements.
• Providing expert consultation to all levels of corporate staff and management related to enterprise identity and access systems and processes.
• Raising and promoting new ideas, gaining the cooperation of others, managing conflict and influencing change.
• Guiding team members and business communities of future identity and access processes and vision including moving into the cloud.
• Staying current with IAM trends, security threats, and best practices

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge and understanding an Enterprise Identity and Access Management Suite and its connectors and integrations.
• Profound understanding of identity management protocols and standards such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SSO and LDAP
• Extensive technical experience with M365 and Azure Active Directory security and identity services and capabilities.
• Senior level experience with SaaS single sign-on (SSO) implementation, configurations and maintenance.
• Hands-on expertise integrating Microsoft Entra ID and other IDP such as SAP Identity Services, Oracle Identity Services.
• Working knowledge and understanding of public key infrastructure (PKI).
• Proven knowledge in enterprise identity and access provisioning concepts, systems, workflows and processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of security audit, risk management principles and information security and privacy related legislation.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
• Capable of producing exceptional high-level written technical overviews in addition to detailed technical documentation based on audience composition.
• Strong relationship management skills and ability to develop and maintain business relationships across the enterprise and with business partners.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, analysis skills and learning agility.
• Experience supporting or leading projects of enterprise complexity from an IAM perspective.
• Proficient in eliciting and translating highly complex business requirements into solution requirements.
